Yes, you need to click on the Sign Up icon in the menu bar on the home page to create your account.

info@exfactoryauctions.com or fax 704-841-1200 detailing the equipment you want to sell. Current photos of the equipment must be provided either by mail or .jpg photo files by email. We can also help you establish a reserve price and make suggestions to promote a successful sale.
1024 x 768 pixels or a higher is best for this site, however, 800 x 600 will work with a little overlap.
Our site is best viewed on Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
Bidding
It is important to be familiar with the Buyer’s Terms and Conditions before bidding. They may be viewed by clicking here or going to the Help screen and clicking on Buyer’s Terms and Conditions
You first must register by clicking on the Sign Up link in the upper right corner of the homepage to create your account.
Once you have your username and password you can start bidding immediately. Just search for a machine you desire and click on the image of the machine you are interested in. There will be a Bid button you may click on to start the bid process. If you have forgotten your password, please send us an email or give us a call.
If you are the winning bid on an auction, you are obligated to purchase the item. All non-performing bidders will have their accounts cancelled immediately.
Yes. You may place a bid by calling the auction staff at (877) 580-5844 x367.
This feature enables you to add auctions you want to monitor into one convenient listing that you may add to or delete from.
No, you must participate in the bidding process.
The seller sets a minimum amount acceptable for selling the item. If the current bid is below the Reserve, you’ll see "Reserve not met". Once the bidding has gone beyond the reserve price, "Reserve met" will be displayed. The exact reserve amount is traditionally never shown in online auctions.
Because your bid was below the Next Allowable Bid. In the “Place Your Bid Offer” section of the auction listing you will see a Minimum Bid Increment which is the minimum amount each successive bid must be increased by. The Next Allowable Bid is the last (highest) bid plus the Minimum Bid Increment. For your bid to be accepted, it must be any amount equal to or above this Next Allowable Bid amount.
No. Once submitted, a bid cannot be retracted. If the reserve is met and you become the high and winning bidder, your bid becomes a contract. Please bid only if you are serious about purchasing the item.
All auction times are Eastern Standard Time (EST) except between the first Sunday of April to the last Sunday of October which is Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDT).
No. At the login screen, if a customer checks the box for “Remember Me,” then EXF-Auctions will allow the customer to login from the same computer for two weeks without requiring the customer to re-confirm their information.
One common reason is that you might need to add noreply@exfactoryauctions.com to a “safe” email list to ensure you receive emails from EX-FACTORY Auctions. The emails might get caught in the spam filter. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email the auction staff.

Yes. All items for auction are available for inspection, although not all machinery is under power. Please call the auction staff at (877) 580-5844 x367 or email
info@exfactoryauctions.com to arrange an inspection. Typically vendors will need 36 hours notice prior to an inspection.
No. Unless clearly stated, all of the equipment is offered "As-Is Where-Is." All information about the equipment for sale is provided by the current owner. EXFA does its best to insure that the information is accurate, but does not accept responsibility regarding the accuracy of information or description supplied.
Specifications are correct to the best of our knowledge and obtained from sources deemed reliable. Still, we encourage personal inspection prior to the sale to confirm accuracy. EXFA cannot guarantee the correctness of specifications. – The final decision to the fitness of a particular machine for your application rest with the buyer. We encourage all bidders to inspect items to satisfy any questions or concerns you may have.
Winning Bids
At the close of the auction, a winning bidder notification would be emailed to the address listed in your account.
Yes, there is a 10% buyer’s premium due in addition to the winning bid. For example, if your winning bid was $1,000, the amount due EXFA would be $1,100. Please check details in Buyer’s Terms and Conditions under the Help tab on the homepage.
Possibly. If the buyer is located in North Carolina, the buyer would be responsible to pay 1% of the purchase price for a maximum value of $8,000 ($80 tax). The tax may be waived if an appropriate tax exempt certificate is provided. Any other taxes due any other state are the responsibility of the buyer to remit to the proper taxing authority.
Payment must be made by certified/cashier’s check or via wire/bank transfer by the close of the 2nd business day after the auction ends. We do not accept credit cards for auction purchases. Shipping
You may arrange the shipping yourself, or we can arrange it to be shipped to you freight pre-paid. Most equipment will be shipped via flat bed truck as a partial load. Occasionally smaller pieces can be crated and shipped common carrier, although we do not recommend this method. Arrangements should be made as soon as possible, but arrangements can sometimes be made with the owner of the machinery. These arrangements should
be investigated before bidding. You should figure to pick up your equipment as you can.
